If you notice v2 says Jesus face shined as the sun, then it says that his clothes became white as the light, thus we have an identifying color
Without the sun the sky is simply black as the outerspace the sun sits in, it is the sun that causes the sky to look blue to your eyerus.
The bible speaks of light and darkness in multiple passages

There has been according to the bible light and darkness, good and evil, and good and evil are described as light (good) and darkness (evil). The SUN that lights the planet is actually part of God's energy that he used to light the sky for man and keep the earth warm, just as you can not stare directly at the sun because you will go blind, man cannot stare directly at God either.

The reason I know this is because I have seen God, Christ appeared to me one late morning outside around 2 AM Christmas morning in the form of the cloud. He did not speak, he simply showed me he was real and it caused me to leave Agnosticism.
Since then I have experienced and seen many things, including an unclean spirit, I could write an entire blog on that subject as well. I was also caught up in a vision and transported into a room which Christ showed me what was inside his body, rainbow colored energy this being the perception of my eyerus, but in reality solid White Energy like the SUN, I saw what Ezekiel saw !!!!
Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.Ezekiel 1:28 speaks of the energy of God and it was the color of the rainbow, i.e. the color our eyerus depicts, however without the eyerus the energy is pure white like the SUN. Our SUN that keeps our planet warm is energy directly from the body of God !!! How many Gods are there ??? One
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
There is only one God and he is God the father, the SON is God through the speech/Spirit of the father that dwells in his body, this is how the SON said he knew Abraham, and Philip asked Christ show us the father, and Christ declared it is I Philip for the father is inside of me. Watch

There however is more to the puzzle than this because Christ said he was the image of the father. When God in the old testament spoke to Israel he spoke in the form of a cloud, and this cloud form looked like the SON, God was manifested in the cloud like he was manifested in the flesh, and his image soaked through the cloud and flesh somewhat that is why Christ is the image of the father, the father looks exactly like Christ but is Spirit.
For example if we made a plaster mold of your face what would it look like ? It would look like your face correct in plastic ?
